Throughout town there are people offering trading services of sorts. A few npcs trade for materials, and others will offer weapons if you can gather a set of materials for them.
グラーグ
Inside the Hunter's Guild is the man you'll need to speak to to exchange vouchers for equipment. Upon speaking with him initially, a simple mission will be unlocked that you can obtain Rank1 vouchers from. These can be traded for level 1 weaponry that have better titles than storebought goods. Rank 2~11 vouchers are obtained from their respective rank up missions. These can be traded for normal sets of armor with 30% to a single stat (depends on type of armor).

エルケス
Possessing unique rings to trade for rare materials, Elketh is a man you will inevitably need to speak to. The blessed ring grants a skill while equipped - Soul Purge. This is required to fight Ladon. The dispel ring will be necessary to defeat Maou Davize, although the one you get from Elketh requires the gem replaced before the dispel skill is usable. The delta ring is not essential, but grants a skill called Crossfire. These rings will break if upgraded even to +1, but with tincture or dark matter it is possible.

Entering a door in town you may find yourself inside Aldina's room. She specializes in rings and can sell you pure element rings that have int/con+25% and 30% to their element (50% for rank 10 and 11). She can also unlock the true power of the dispel ring Elketh holds, by replacing the イリティス it's missing (provided by player). If the dispel ring was upgraded that will be lost once exchanged.
